School starts again in February 2008. Escuela Mundo De Los Ninos is in its 8th year and desperately needs repairs.

The school has been in session since 2000 in a village that otherwise would not have a school. Hundreds of children are now able to read and write thanks to support from friends like you. Due to the remote location of the village, and the lack of economy in the community, Escuela Mundo De Los Ninos needs your continued support. The actual building is strong, but there is a dire need for new school desks, supplies and cement to fix the gapping cracks in the floor.

 The blackboard also needs to be replaced.

The blackboard is presently a piece of plywood painted green. Amazingly enough, the school trudges on.

 There are 35 children in Escuela Mundo De Los Ninos this year.

 School Repairs Needed ASAP!

$400. for 20 Bags of cement, sand and gravel (delivered)
$100. for a new teacher’s desk.
$50. for a new black board
$350. for school supplies. ($10. per child)
$140. roll of chain link wire for all windows.
$200. for 10 gallons of paint, brushes and rollers
$1240. total.

The 2008 school year starts on Monday Feb. 4th 2008.
