Hi Friends... |

Hi Friends! Thank you for your many emails and for checking into World Kids Voyage. “No” I have not dropped off the map. “Yes” I have been off line for a few weeks. In fact at this very moment, I am in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. The purpose of this present mission is to complete a guide book about the coast of Central America which I have been working on for over two full years. See: www.cruisingcentralamerica.com for more info. It is important that I get this first book in stores soon as possible. Though not related, CCA will be instrumental in helping the many good projects for World Kids.
The good news at last is we are coming down to the home stretch, closing in on the finish line. I am working with an amazing team of friends and coordinators right here in San Salvador. Our goal is to make CCA more than just informative, we would like to deliver you a beautiful innovative piece of literary art. The book is being designed in full color and will be printed in El Salvador. ESCUELA MUNDO DE LOS NINOSI would like to say a “Special Thanks” to friends Jade and Katy who arrived in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua to help out at our school in Cangrejo. I apologize for having missed Jade and Katy by one day while they were in town. There is a lot of work to do to bring the school back up to speed. When I make it back to Nicaragua in the coming weeks, we’ll be going full steam ahead on Escuela Mundo De Los Ninos. Friends Lisa and Liz arrive at the end of March. We’ll all be riding out to the village to survey the school. Meanwhile, I have my hands full with CCA in El Salvador. SIGHTS SET SEAWARDTime permitting; it seems quite probable I will be crewing aboard SV Agape from La Costa Del Sol, El Salvador to Bahia San Juan, Nicaragua mid month. Captain Ingemar has invited me to help sail the boat down the coast of Central America. SV Agape is a 42 foot Warren Catamaran. Last season, I sailed aboard SV Sunshine, Al and Stephanie’s 47 foot Horstman Trimaran in Sou-Nica and recently made a solo passage down the coast with my humble little 30 foot “Chickadee”. See: Previous reports. Okay Mates, Thanks for staying in touch across the miles. I will be heading out to the coastal town of La Libertad, this weekend to do more research for CCA. La Libertad is world renown for being a surfing destination. It should be noted at being the seafood capital of Central America. The seafood platters are scrumptious. I will be sure to send in a live report for you. Take care for now. Capt. Eric “Chickadee” B.
